Privacy notice

Last updated 1 October 2026

This notice covers the PES + Eclipse Power access page and the price list and configurator behind it. It explains what personal data we collect, why, who it reaches and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

Power Engineering Services Limited (“PES”) is the data controller for the personal data described here.

Registered namePower Engineering Services Limited
Registered officeUnit A, Tong Road Industrial Estate, Amberley Road, Wortley, Leeds LS12 4BD

PES and Eclipse Power work together on adopted substations, and the two companies share details of account holders with each other where a project involves both. What you send through the request form on this site is not shared — it reaches PES only, and is used to decide whether to open an account. If an account is opened, the paragraph below on who else sees your data applies from that point.

What we collect, and why

If you request access

The form on the access page asks for your name, your company and your email address. We use them to decide whether to set up an account and to reply to you. They are sent to us by email and are not written to any database on this website.

If you have an account

We hold:

When you visit either site

Our hosting provider keeps standard server records of requests — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to keep the service running and to detect abuse.

Cookies and tracking

The access page sets no cookies at all. It loads no analytics, no advertising tags and nothing at all from a third party: the fonts, images and scripts are all served from the site itself. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why you are not asked.

The portal behind the sign-in sets one cookie, CF_Authorization, issued by Cloudflare Access. It is what keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary for the service to work and it is not used to track you anywhere else.

Our lawful basis

Replying to an access requestLegitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you made
Running your accountLegitimate interests, or performance of a contract where one is in place
Handling your enquiriesLegitimate interests, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract
Access records and security logsLegitimate interests — protecting commercially confidential pricing

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered the effect on you. The data is business contact information, held for a business purpose you initiated, and you can object at any time using the contact details above.

Who else sees it

Eclipse Power

If you hold an account, we share your name, organisation and contact details with Eclipse Power where a project involves them — typically because the substation is to be adopted onto their network. We do not share the contents of your enquiries or the prices you were shown unless the project requires it.

Access requests made through the form on this site are not shared with Eclipse Power. They reach PES alone.
